Glarion is operated by Aurelio Avila, trading as an individual at this stage rather than through a registered company. "We" and "us" below mean the same person named in the Privacy Policy.
What Glarion is
Glarion scans websites for security misconfigurations and turns the result into a report. It is aimed at agencies managing sites for clients, not at scanning domains you have no relationship with.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 to open an account — we ask your date of birth at signup and check it. An account is for one person or organization; do not share login credentials across unrelated parties.
The one rule everything else depends on
You may only run a scan against a domain you own, or are authorized by its owner to test. Before any scan runs, you prove that by publishing a DNS record or file that only the domain's owner could place there. That proof expires after 30 days and is re-checked before every scheduled scan, because a domain can change hands.
We record the IP address, browser identifier, and timestamp behind every authorization, permanently, specifically so that "I didn't authorize that" can be checked against something. Falsely claiming ownership of a domain to run a scan is a breach of these terms and, depending on the outcome, may also be a criminal matter under computer-misuse law in your jurisdiction — that risk is yours, not ours; the verification step exists to keep it that way.
What the scans do and do not do
Scans are detection-only: they look for known misconfigurations and fingerprints. Nothing we run attempts to exploit a finding, brute force a credential, or degrade the target's availability. A scan can still generate real traffic against the target, and we rate-limit it for that reason — but you are still responsible for making sure the target can bear a security scan before you authorize one.
A clean report is not a guarantee of security. It means the checks we ran found nothing — not that no vulnerability exists. We re-rank findings by real-world severity rather than by scanner label, but that judgment can be wrong, and you are responsible for verifying anything you act on or pass to a client.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including scans authorized with your credentials. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Subscriptions and billing
- The Free plan needs no payment method and no card.
- Paid plans (Studio, Agency) are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Prices shown exclude VAT, which Stripe calculates and adds at checkout.
- Cancel any time from Manage billing in Settings. Cancelling stops future charges and the automatic weekly checks; the sites you added and the reports already generated are not deleted.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where the law requires it.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, once any paid subscription is cancelled. We can suspend or end an account that breaches these terms — most importantly, the ownership-verification rule above — with or without notice depending on the severity.
No warranty, limited liability
Glarion is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made on the basis of a scan report. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that meaningfully affects you, we will say so and update the date at the top rather than let the change pass unannounced.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Italy.
